I am trying to find a speech by Clarence Thomas where is gave a historical lesson on the use of constitutional rights. A jurist in Romania in WWII asserted Romanian constitutional rights to shield jewish Romanians from the Nazis. The jurist was named Pesic (I am sure I have not spelled that right). I want to find that excellent speech. TG
This is a blog that supplants the other Justice Thomas Appreciation Page. It provides information about the speeches and opinions of Justice Thomas, as well as articles about him.
Email me by putting justicethomaspage in front of yahoo.com. I am NOT Justice Thomas, and an email sent to that address will go to me, not to him.
NOTE: In running my previous website for the past six years, I found that many websites to which I had linked (i.e., with articles and interviews) just disappeared without a trace, and there was no way to recover the information. Therefore, I am taking the liberty of copying the entire text of many articles and interviews here, so that they are not completely lost in perhaps a few months. If you own the copyright on any of these items, feel free to contact me and I'll immediately pare down the text to a few "fair use" quotations.
Please see the links below for all of the posts related to his "speeches," articles about his "jurisprudence," and so forth.
