Visit to St. Vincent Archabbey

United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas speaking at the annual Red Mass, held at Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica. Justice Thomas spoke to nearly 600 members of the bench and bar from throughout the region.



While on the Saint Vincent campus, Justice Thomas took the time out to visit and speak with a class taught by Father Campion Gavaler, O.S.B. He told students about his background, included plenty of jokes, which had everyone laughing, and had them asking plenty of questions about his achievements.



Justice Thomas met with Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B., left, and Father Martin R. Bartel, O.S.B., President of Saint Vincent College.
